Loppington House has been established since 1983. It is situated in beautiful rural North Shropshire close to the market town of Wem and 14 miles from the county town of Shrewsbury. It is the perfect setting in which to help students achieve a balanced outlook on life and makes an ideal environment for enjoyment and learning.

Loppington House, a privately owned establishment, comprises a Further Education Unit and Adult Centre. It is totally committed to promoting the educational, social and personal development of young men and women with learning difficulties, disabilities and associated behavioural problems.

The specific needs of every resident receive the individual attention of qualified staff in a range of programmes that address the learning needs of students with the most severe and complex of disabilities. A 24 hour curriculum includes structured daytime activities and also activities within the residential element, which creates a practical opportunity for students to realise their potential for independence leading to fulfilment in life.
